Kayser Space at BEX 2026: from space technologies to opportunities on Earth

Kayser Space took part in BEX – Beyond Exploration Expo, held in Rimini from September 23 to 25, as part of the Italian collective organized by AIAD.

The event brought together companies, institutions and professionals from across the space ecosystem, offering an opportunity to discuss some of the key topics shaping the future of the space economy and its impact on Earth.

During the event, Michele Balsamo joined the ENEA panel “Space and Urban Farming: Growing Life Beyond Earth, Innovating for Our Planet”, exploring the role of advanced agriculture, controlled cultivation and bioregenerative systems in supporting long-duration human exploration and contributing to more sustainable and resilient agriculture on Earth.

David Zolesi took part in the STAM Srl panel “Non-Space Companies and the LEO Economy: Making Business with Microgravity”, focused on the opportunities offered by microgravity for the development of new products, processes and services and on how in-orbit research can create new business opportunities across different industries.

Kayser Space’s participation in BEX 2026 provided an important opportunity to exchange perspectives with the space community and share expertise on technologies and applications connecting space research with innovation on Earth.

The next appointment will be IAC 2026 – International Astronautical Congress, taking place in Antalya from October 5 to 9, where Kayser Space will continue engaging with the international space community.
